Check Mail Status

You can easily track the status of any mail you’ve sent from the “Sent” tab in your Docsmit account. This allows you to monitor both its production and delivery progress.

Understanding Mail Status

There are two main types of statuses to be aware of:

  • Production Status: This tells you if your mail has been printed and handed off to the United States Postal Service (USPS).
  • Delivery Status: This shows you the progress of your mail within the USPS system, such as whether it’s in transit, has been delivered, or if there was a delivery issue.

Checking Your Mail’s Status

To view the status of a specific mail piece, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Docsmit account.
  2. Navigate to the “Sent” tab.
  3. Use the search bar or scroll through the list to locate your mail piece.
  4. The color of the recipient’s name provides an at-a-glance status update.
